29 Jul Unprecedented demand & Staff Illness
We are currently experiencing increasing winter illness within our patient population and among staff which is causing unprecedented demand for our services. Due to this our appointment wait times have increased.
We will do our best to accommodate existing bookings, if the GP is unwell your clinic booking may be changed to a Phone Consult as they work from home, you will be advised of this via SMS (you will receive a call from a private number at your booked time) at times your appointment may need to be cancelled due to staff sickness and the inability to arrange cover. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, please remember staff illness is out of our control, we will not tolerate verbal, aggressive or violent behaviour towards staff.
As we will do our best to attend to all patient queries, there may be a delay in receiving a call back from our Nurses. We ask for your patience as we navigate through our workload. For further assistance please contact our reception team, we will be happy to help.
Needing a repeat prescription? You may be able to request this without seeing your GP, this can be requested through Manage my Health or by phoning our script line. This will be provided at your GP’s discretion (this is a 48 hour process during business days) See our fees list.
