North Avon Medical Centre will now be charging for Nurse Advice from Thursday the 31st of August
We have previously not charged for advice given by our Nurses, due to the increasing demand on our Nursing team we have had to implement this fee.
We are hoping the fees will reduce time spent on the phones and allow more time to provide quality clinical care.
Our nurses are still available to triage all urgent requests, however, if your call is deemed as non-urgent, there will be a fee for this.
Fees are below:
CSC Holder: $15.00
No CSC: $25.00
Children aged 13 & under: No Charge
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 111 for an ambulance.
